Data were analyzed using the Probit regression model. Results and Conclusion Students’ monthly expenditure level, their mothers’ occupation, and the ability of students’ organization, coordination, innovation, communication had strong effects on employment choices. The licensed pharmacists associations in China have the characteristics of both governmental and non-governmental organizations. The operation of the associations varies greatly. Actively facing the rapid changes induced by economic globalization should be the right attitude and will benefit the international and regional communication and harmonization. With the development of society and economy in Asia, as well as the improvement of people living standards, the demand of the talents in pharmaceutical care is increasing. In order to meet the increasing needs of such exchanges, harmonization of pharmacy education is becoming a priority task. In this paper, the pharmacy education systems and the main courses for pharmacy education in some Asian countries and regions are compared, and accordingly, some suggestions are proposed.
